-La nouvelle Wilson Benesch Resolution qui obtient l’Award ALFIE:
« This configuration, put together by AAImports, was most successful on the Reference Recordings LP of Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, where the system did the best job of conveying the air around the big bass drum that I’ve ever experienced. The sheer spaciousness of the presentation was enthralling. That said, the top splattered a bit, there was some bass booming in Ferit Odman’s lounge music « Dameronia, » and the top was a bit tipped up. As impressive as the drum sounded in the Copland, a preponderance of treble overtones gave it a cast that I never hear in actual performance. »

Pepper’s . . . can sometimes sound like grainy sandpaper around the edges—not the case for Zesto Audio. »

La fameuse marque autrichienne était aussi en démonstration, avec des commentaires d’écoutes dithyrambiques:
« The system produced excellent full range sound. Dire Straits’ « You and Your Friends » had a big, big image, with excellent bass and striking highs. On my familiar SACD of soprano Carolyn Sampson singing Mozart’s « Et incarnates est » from the Great Mass in c, I missed the full differentiation of colors between period instruments that I’m accustomed to, as well as a bit of the grounding in the center of Sampson’s voice. Regardless, the art and beauty of the performance came through, and provided needed respite toward the end of a long day. «

Un commentaire simple mais qui en dit long
« Lou Harrison’s Violin Concerto, Tim Fain’s violin sounded absolutely right on, and the close-miking of the instrument was also revealed. Most systems are not so revealing. »
